Julia Nelson-Gal - Palo Alto, CA. The genesis of my artwork comes from my life-long love of photography and from my interest in collecting discarded objects, the conveyed information of who people were and how they lived their lives, but most importantly the “aura” of having been from a previous time.
For me it is the encapsulation of what was past with an overlying comment sealed in resin is what is most profound about Julia’s work. – MH
